That said, Rodney Whitaker and Michael Dease record on Origin Records, and their Gregg Hill CDs correspond to their regular, annual release schedule. Hill no doubt bankrolls his own label, but probably not for the five on Origin, which I find the most interesting (haven't listened to all 14 yet).
Because of my proximity to Michigan and Chicago, I get to see Rodney. dozens of times over the years.A fantastic musician.
